Communiqué to the Moon Mothers of France – November 2023 – Concerning the WB segment on France 2 and FranceInfo:

Dearest Moon Mothers

I have recently been informed that a French National TV channel has mentioned the Womb Blessing. The channel did not inform me or anyone associated with the Womb Blessing of their intentions beforehand.

The programme talks negatively about Moon Mother® and Womb Blessing® and shows a photograph of me.

In the programme, the reporter secretly films a ‘consultation’ with a practitioner, using a hidden camera.

It is uncertain from the item whether the woman featured offered to give an authorised Womb Blessing, or whether she was offering a consultation that was unassociated with the Moon Mother techniques. Either way, the secret and unfair portrayal of this practitioner was a fundamental breach of trust, and I feel very sorry for the position in which she has been placed,

This programme is of deep concern because of the negative approach to the Womb Blessing and to Moon Mothers, the secret filming, the potential harm, and the lack of clarity within the reporting.

I am deeply saddened that this reporting portrays a negative image of the amazing Moon Mothers worldwide who are committed and professional in their work and whose practices bring support to many women.

J’ai récemment été informée qu’une chaîne de télévision nationale française avait mentionné la Womb Blessing. La chaîne ne m’a pas informée au préalable de ses intentions, ni aucune personne associée à la Womb Blessing.

L’émission parle négativement de Moon Mother® et de Womb Blessing® et montre une photographie de moi.

Dans l’émission, le journaliste filme secrètement une “consultation” avec un praticien, à l’aide d’une caméra cachée.

L’article ne permet pas de savoir si la femme présentée a proposé de donner une Womb Blessing autorisée, ou si elle proposait une consultation non associée aux techniques de Moon Mother. Quoi qu’il en soit, le portrait secret et injuste de cette praticienne constitue un abus de confiance fondamental, et je suis vraiment désolée pour la position dans laquelle elle a été placée,

Ce programme est très préoccupant en raison de l’approche négative de la Womb Blessing et des Moon Mother, du tournage secret, du préjudice potentiel et du manque de clarté du reportage.

Je suis profondément attristée que ce reportage donne une image négative des étonnantes Moon Mother du monde entier, qui sont engagées et professionnelles dans leur travail et dont les pratiques apportent un soutien à de nombreuses femmes.
