When we look at the Full Moon, what do we see?
We see a light that is soft and gentle, and a radiance that bathes all in its beauty. Slowly, unhurriedly, the Moon rises in the sky, holding elegance and serenity. And she is complete in her fullness, she is not trying to be something else or turning away from what she is. And whoever we are, wherever we are, the Full Moon, in her cloak of darkness and with her attendant stars, holds us all equally in her light, her love, her protection, her peace, and her guidance.
At the end of the last Blessing, the Full Moon shone through the south-facing windows of my room, filling my space with her light. Outside I see the garden – a beautiful patchwork of pale blue-white light and darkness. And the Moon softly reminds me that we are like her, and that her energies lie within us. We also shine with the beauty of the Divine Feminine, whatever our age. We are all complete in love and light, and we all have the ability to bathe the world in serenity, kindness, and tenderness.
The pressures of the world hide the light of the Moon within us, but it is still there, and we can find it if we just take a few moments to turn inwards beneath the layer of our outer lives. This is why the Womb Blessing is so IMPORTANT – it reminds us of who we are, our true self.
I loved the energies of the Womb Blessing yesterday, and as I went to bed the Full Moon reminded me that the energies and gifts that the Womb Blessing brings are not just for the moments of meditation, but they are also there to support us in our everyday life.
So make space in your life and in your diary for December 8th for the next Worldwide Womb Blessing, and find your inner PEACE and STRENGTH in the crazy stresses of Christmas! And if you see a hassled woman shopping, invite her to take part – this way you can give her the gift of a more peaceful and happy Christmas / Yule / Hanukkah / Winter festival😊.
Love and hugs
